Legoland windsor

We won a trip to Legoland – a nice Easter present

I was so thrilled when we won a trip to Legoland Windsor to see a screening of the all-new LEGO® Hero Factory Brain Attack – thanks to a competition hosted by ChelseaMamma.  I’d been to Legoland years ago with my Mum not long after it opened, so was looking forward to showing my son and Daddy P the sights on Saturday.

We got there bright and early for the screening, I was a bit apprehensive as my son is definitely not keen on cinemas, and the short film was a little scary for a 3 and a bit year old.  I kept him amused throughout and Daddy P assured me that the short film was very good.

From then on, the day was our own so off we went ….. We started in Miniland, where you can find all sorts of world landmarks made in Lego.  Of course, my son found some trains and rockets so he was in his element 🙂

Then off to Duplo Valley Airport for a helicopter flight with Daddy P – he loved it. A couple of train rides, a trip on a boat and then off to Atlantis for a trip on a yellow submarine.  This was excellent – we saw sharks, stingrays and lots of different fish.

We had a quick bite to eat, too cold to sit outside for long, then off in search of another train ride (yes my son is obsessed) and a trip to Digger Challenge.

By 2.30 pm it was starting to get very cold and was snowing, so we decided to call it a day.  There were loads left to see but my son had had a long day. We’ll definitely go back at some point, but having looked at the entry charges we would need to seek out a good voucher deal I think.
