Tesco cheese Entertaining range – AD sent for review

disclosure:  we were sent the items mentioned for purpose of review

Thanks to BzzAgent we’ve been trying out the Tesco cheese entertaining range. The first to try was 6 Goats’ Cheese parcels wrapped in Smoked Bacon.

Goats' Cheese parcels wrapped in smoked bacon

I’m not the biggest fan of goat’s cheese so I purposely bought these to try for myself really.  Could I be swayed?  Also, my son has never tried goat’s cheese so I was interested to see what he would make of the texture and taste.

The weather has been so lovely, I didn’t want to spend ages cooking a hot meal so these parcels were a great, quick treat to add to a crisp salad for dinner.  You heat a pan on the hob (no oil needed) and then cook the cheese parcels for 5 minutes.  Make sure you turn frequently so the bacon doesn’t burn.

Today we decided to have cheese on toast for lunch.  I decided to try something a bit different for mine, Mexican style cheese filler with Monterey jack cheese blended with spices and green and red jalapeno chillies…

It was lovely, the chillies gave it a real zing, just up my street.  My son stuck with his cheddar cheese 🙂

We’ve also tried the Cheddar Cheese souffle – very nice.

and then today we added the Feta Cheese topper with semi-dried tomato and kalamata olives to our pizza – very tasty……
