Do you fancy having some fun at lunchtime? Warburtons have come up with a fun idea to bring a bit of ‘kraziness’ to our lunchtimes with the Warburtons Krazy Kitchen Gameshow over on their Facebook page. They have released a series of video’s showing two families – the Griffiths and the McDermotts battling it out over lunchtime challenges to make the ultimate krazy sandwich. There are some lovely (and quick!!) recipes to make, for a great, healthy lunchtime treat for you and your family.
We thought we’d get into the mood, well I put on a chicken mask, as you do, and a sailor’s hat (watch the video’s and all will become clear – whilst my nearly 4-year-old son laughed.
I’m always looking for something new to try for lunch, and as my son and I are always out and about, lunch often needs to be something I can make quickly – but also need to be healthy.
So I decided to make us some Chicken Supreme sandwiches using Warburtons Sliced, Soft White Sandwich Thins as featured in the Kid Vs Kid video – number 3
We both loved this sandwich, the Thins are light and a perfect size for picnics or lunch at home. My son has suggested that we use the Thins to make some pizzas – another quick idea for lunch and something the kids can help decorate – funny faces and the like.
For lunch today we are going to have Tex-Mex Mayhem using Warburtons Square Wraps as featured in the first Warburtons Krazy Kitchen Gameshow video – featuring Mum Vs Mum!
Watch the video for full ingredients – it looks great and I can’t wait to try it later. I shall be wearing a mini sombrero as I prepare lunch – I’ll leave that thought with you.
Today, Friday, see’s the launch of the last of the four video’s in Warburtons Krazy Kitchen Gameshow – don’t forget to watch it to see what happens in the finale of Krazy Kitchens.
OOh, enjoy the pizza! My lot love it when I take a wrap, cover in cheese (and possibly some tomato puree, chilli powder and onion for the older ones), take another wrap and put it in a lightly greased pan until the cheese is melting, flip over and do the same – quesedillas! 🙂
Great hat and mask btw 😀
Love that idea!
