spaghetti with the yeti

You may recall we went to an event at Egmont – the publishers, down in London a few months ago.  We were lucky enough to receive a proof copy of Spaghetti with the Yeti by Adam & Charlotte Guillain, illustrated by Lee Wildish.  This 30-page picture paperback book has just been launched and is suitable for children aged 3 years and over, so great for my little bookworm boy who will be 4 in December.

Spaghetti with the Yeti was a hit in this house from our first reading.  A brave adventurer called George gets up one morning and decides he wants to have dinner with a Yeti and share a bowl of spaghetti – as you do!

This is a fun, humorous story, the text is really descriptive, there are lots of font changes to add emphasis.  The illustrations are bright and contain so much information, they work brilliantly with this book.

Spaghetti with the Yeti, Egmont

George meets all manner of beasts on his journey, each one he thinks must be the Yeti, but no, he’s not in luck.  Each creature has its own idea of what a Yeti will eat.  My son giggled all the way through this story – he loves spaghetti himself.

Will he find his Yeti?  Will the Yeti eat Spaghetti?  I’ll let you get your own copy to find out!  Priced at £6.99 Spaghetti with the Yeti can be purchased through all the major retailers.

  1. I don’t know what he’d like, but I’d try him on a big plate of fish and chips, a true British classic!

  2. The Rafflecopter doesn’t work for me, can only see Application not responding sign.
