I’m linking up again with Magic Moments and What’s the Story? this Monday with a special photo. 4 days after Daddy P and I got married we went for a special scan to get to see Bump up close and personal, only problem was he was a bit camera shy. He kept hiding behind the placenta and didn’t want to budge 🙁
I was 6 months pregnant and we’d booked a 3D scan as our wedding present to each other – someone forgot to tell Bump! The lady operating the scanner suggested a brisk walk for 10 minutes around the car park should get Bump moving.
So off we went for a walk around the car park – please move Bump, we really want to see you!
But no, Bump was definately camera shy, nothing has changed since Bump became Money nearly 4 years ago.
But even though we didn’t the greatest shots, not quite as good as many of my friends had got, we still got to see our little Bump, we got to see hands and a face, a camera-shy bump, but still an amazingly Magic Moment.
Wow what an amazing photo. I’ve always been a bit freaked out by the 3D scans but that looks amazing!
It was wonderful at the time and looked so much like him too
omg you can actually recognise him there, all his face features in a baby form 😀 those 3d scans are so cool – I’ve never had one! hopefully if I have another baby, I will!
It’s quite spooky isn’t it!
Hello!I found your blog through Magic Mondays. What a cool photo-have always been a bit put off by 3d scans but that looks amazing the way you can see his features so clearly!Best of luck with the rest of the pregnancy.
Thanks, this little bump is now heading towards his 4th birthday. It was totally amazing at the time. He looked so much like a little boy.

Wowzers still a pretty incredible scan Mary, you can see his little face! Must have been an unforgettable moment, these 4D scans are just amazing. We didn’t have one but we did have one of POD’s brain and heart cavities which was pretty special. Thank you so much for sharing this with #whatsthestory
How amazing, those scans weren’t readily available when I was pregnant with my two (I’m not THAT old, honest!) so this looks awesome compared to my scan pics!
The difference between the normal scan photos and these is amazing isn’t it – such detail
Wow thats amazing, totally diferent from the one I have which is before the days of technology like this
