disclosure: we were sent this book for the purpose of review
We’ve reached Day 8 of my 12 Days of Christmas books, and today I have something a little different for you, Where Are Santa’s Pants? This seek and find book is illustrated by Richard Merritt and published through Little Hare Books, a division of Egmont.
Where Are Santa’s Pants? is aimed at children over 5 years of age, and to be frank, it’s kept me amused since it arrived last week! I think grown-ups would actually enjoy this book as much as the children. You really do test your observational skills.
This 32-page paperback book sets you a challenge! Can you find Santa’s Pants in every scene? Can you find his missing reindeer and if you are very lucky you might just find a sixpence hidden in every scene too. There are 12 different scenes and each has its own challenges. If you think this is easy, you would be wrong!
I can imagine children spending hours seeing if they can see Where Are Santa’s Pants? It’s a very different kind of Christmas book, but a funny one, which will make everyone work for their Christmas dinner this year!
Where Are Santa’s Pants? would make an interesting addition to a Christmas stocking. Thankfully, if you get totally stuck (like me – oops!) there is an Answers section at the back of the book!
Ah those kind of books drive me mad! I know Ethan would love it though!
It took me ages to do the first one! Monkey’s too young, but it’s good fun
This looks like a fun book! I love these Where’s Wally? style books!
It’s certainly kept me entertained, let alone children – lol
