The Tiger Who Came to Tea – AD Floor Puzzle sent for review

disclosure:  we were sent this puzzle for the purpose of review

We love books here as you know, one of my son’s favourites is The Tiger Who Came to Tea by Judith Kerr.  So when we had the chance to look at a jigsaw puzzle from Paul Lamond Games this one jumped right out at us!

The Tiger Who Came To Tea

The Tiger Who Came to Tea Floor Puzzle has 24 pieces and is aimed at children over the age of 3 years.  Perfect for a nearly 4-year-old little boy.  He couldn’t wait to get started when we unwrapped the box.

I love to encourage him to spend time doing jigsaw puzzles, getting him to concentrate and develop his problem-solving skills.  Puzzles are great for improving hand/eye coordination and offer great discussion points.  What can you see?  What is happening? Where does this go??

The jumbo jigsaw puzzle pieces are made of firm card, they’re not going to bend easily and get damaged by little hands.  Jumbo size floor puzzles are a great introduction to the world of jigsaw puzzles for smaller children, the pieces are so much easier to manipulate.

So he set to work, he didn’t need my help, we just talked about what he could see as the picture emerged.

The Tiger Who Came To Tea puzzle picture is instantly recognisable to any fan of the Judith Kerr book.  The quality of the finish is good; as you would expect from Paul Lamond Games, a company that has been in the business for over 25 years.

When completed the puzzle measures 49 x 68.5cms.

The storage box is made of sturdy cardboard (always a plus in my mind, especially when storing puzzles) and comes with a plastic carry handle.  My son was soon packing his new The Tiger Who Came To Tea puzzle away in its box and pretending he had a suitcase.  He was off on his travels – maybe to the Zoo, to see if the Tiger was waiting for him to bring him a cup of tea perhaps?

For more information on the Paul Lamond Games range of Games and Puzzles why not take a peek at their Facebook page or follow them on Twitter.

My son really enjoyed this puzzle, I liked the quality, and for around £10 we give this a big thumbs up – would make a great Christmas present for someone!
