Savig memories with Truprint

Saving memories with Truprint – review and giveaway

October seems like a lifetime ago already!  A distant memory of sunshine and time spent with family in Spain. I’m always taking photos and lately I’ve been saving memories with Truprint.

remembering our holiday with TruprintTruprint provide a great online service to turn photographs into mementos of all sorts, including calendars and photo books.  I’m a big fan of photo books and have made up a number since Monkey was born.  I find they make great presents for my parents who live in Spain, and don’t get to see Monkey very often.

Saving memories with Truprint has meant I’ve been able to create a 7×5 Soft Custom Cover Photobook for Mum and Dad with all the photos I took of them with Monkey during our holiday.

The 7×5 Soft Custom Cover Photobook is a great way of collecting photographs, you can select your layout and costs £12.99 for 20 pages.  I know my parents will love this Christmas present, saving memories with Truprint and reminding them of our holiday.

Next I decided to make up a lovely hardback 8×11 Premier Lay-Flat Photobook for us to keep of as a memento. Having a hardback will really keep this photo book in pristine condition.  You can add a title to the front cover and spine, and have a wrap over photo covering the front and back of the photo book. You can change the page layouts to suit and add text as required.  The paper has a matt finish so great when Monkey wants to have a look!  The paper is also quite thick, so pages won’t get torn.  I’m really pleased with this book and for £29.99 for 20 pages I think this is a great way of saving memories with Truprint.

As well as saving memories of our recent holiday, I wanted to look back at the last year.  What have we done with Monkey, where have we been.  I decided on 2 different ideas.  Firstly, another photo book to add to our collection.  I do one at the end of every year, something for Monkey to have when he is older.

This time I opted for the 11×8 Hard Custom Cover Photobook, complete with gloss paper finish and a wonderful presentation box for storage.

Apologies for the flash images on these photos!  The print reproduction is great, just as you would expect from Truprint.  Again I added text to the spine and through the photo book, you could change layouts too.  The photo book itself costs £24.99 for 20 pages, the premium gloss finish was £7.00 and the presentation box was £13.00. The presentation box is actually deep enough to store 2 11×8 photo books and would make a wonderful add-on for a present.  Great for weddings, christenings and other special family occasions.  I’m very happy with my photo book selections.

Photo books are wonderful, I’m a big fan, you can tell.  But I also wanted something I could look at all the time.  I realised that a 2014 photo calendar would give me the chance to do just that.

I opted for the 11×8.5 Classic Calendar at £14.99.  There were lots of backgrounds to choose from, you can add a photo for each month and a cover shot, as well as titles.  I also added photos and notes to remind us of specific family events throughout the year.

As you can see there are different photo layout options for this photo calendar, and now I have a reminder of times with Monkey, over the last year.

The service at Truprint has been great, I had one issue on the website which was resolved immediately, the orders were delivered promptly, and the finished products are all of very good quality.  I’m one happy Mummy and I know my parents will be thrilled with their surprise present.

disclaimer:  I was given access to the items mentioned in exchange for a review, my comments however, remain my own honest opinions.
