Goodbye to 2013

Goodbye to 2013

Sadly I was really under the weather after Christmas so have really neglected my blog lately!  So it’s a bit late, but time to say goodbye to 2013, I was fast asleep before 2014 arrived – how sad is that??!! Never mind, hopefully I will make up for it during the year.

It’s quite strange to say goodbye to 2013 and look back over the year realising I hadn’t started blogging a year ago.  I did technically have the blog set up, but didn’t get it started until Monkey had chickenpox in the February.  Then I went self-hosted in July, A big year for my baby blog. So, here are some of my favourite posts from 2013 – eek, there have been so many to choose from!

February – a post about our love of books

March – we said goodbye to Monkey’s beloved sit on car

April – my first blogging meet up – seems like a lifetime ago now!

May – our love of the natural world emerges as we go on a hunt for snails!

June – Monkey loves Tractor Ted, and visiting the Tractor Ted Farm show was a real highlight for all of us.

July – Having the opportunity to work with the RSPB has been amazing, and so is our pond!

August – the day when Monkey got to meet a Super Guppy was a great day out for all.

September – Monkey’s first day at Nursery School

October – lots of Halloween fun in the kitchen.

November – talking about meeting up with a wonderful group of bloggers, firm friends

December – Monkey turns 4!

Goodbye to 2013

There were so many highlights in 2013, we had so many wonderful trips out and about, watched our caterpillar cocoon and emerge as a moth, baked lots of cakes, reviewed some truly wonderful toys, games, books and so many more items.  I’ve met some great friends, found some inspiring blogs, and spent some time in Spain with my parents.  I’ve watched Monkey grow up, watch his speech improve, his confidence grow, bravery levels extended, it’s been a great year really.

Here are just a few photographs as we say goodbye to 2013 ….

  1. Love the collage of pics. Great summary.

I couldn’t make the April meet up, so still haven’t met any local bloggers. V poor, but working doesn’t really aid meet ups so limited to the conferences. Hopefully this year will get to meet some locally.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
