Have you been to Jersey

Jersey – do you have special memories?

The Channel Islands are somewhere I’d love to explore more. I visited Guernsey, Herm and Sark when I was at school, a very long time ago! I always vowed I’d return and visit Jersey too.  Have you been to Jersey?  I’d love to go there.  I used to enjoy the TV programme Bergerac (showing my age again) and loved seeing the many sides of Jersey.

Have you been to JerseyHaving been to the London Boat Show last week, I quite fancy visiting Jersey for the Jersey Boat Show in May, or maybe go on a walking holiday, Monkey is quite a good walker these days.

If you’ve been to Jersey yourself and fancy a return trip then you can share your memories of Jersey on the VisitJersey Facebook page, and you could win yourself a short break thanks to Visit Jersey. How wonderful would that be!  All you need to do is upload a photo there, and tell them why you love Jersey in up to 100 words.  Be quick though as the promotion ends on 17th January!!

The main prize includes:

  • Two night break to Jersey for four people
  • 4* hotel on B&B basis
  • Flights from the UK to Jersey (with Flybe – exclusions will occur)
  • Car hire

Five runner’s-up will get a Jersey food hamper from La Mare Wine Estate and five runner’s-up will get a 26-page photo book from Huggler.

Good luck!

We’ve been lucky enough to receive one of the lovely Huggler photo books.  The website is easy to navigate.  I love photo books and have more problems getting down to the right number of photos, than finding enough.  My only issue with the Huggler photo book was that I couldn’t seem to change the page layouts.  It’s probably me.  The website did warn me that the quality on a few of the photo’s I’d selected might not be great once enlarged, but they were favourites so I risked it.

When our photo book arrived, I was really pleased with the result.  It comes with a gloss hardback cover, you can add two lines of titles to the front cover. The pages are made of good quality paper and are not going to tear easily.  The Huggler photo book has given us some lovely memories of Monkey in 2013, and would be an ideal way of capturing memories of a holiday to Jersey too.

disclaimer:  we were provided with a photo book in exchange for this post.

  2. I haven’t been but 18yo went a few years ago with hubby’s Mum to get her over her fear of flying

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
