Persil Warm Spice

Persil Warm Spice – a review

Persil Warm SpiceI don’t know about you, but when I think of Persil, I think of washing powder.  I normally use Persil Non-Bio washing tablets.  I’d not noticed that Persil also make washing up liquid, I was actually quite surprised to discover this fact.  So imagine my surprise when a package arrived recently containing Persil Warm Spice washing up liquid.

Persil Warm SpicePersil Warm Spice washing up liquid is red, the first difference for normal washing up liquid.  This seasonal fragrance has hints of cloves, cinnamon and very subtle citrus (which is good as I’m not a fan of citrus smells!).

We don’t own a dishwasher, I do miss having one.  But there is no room in Daddy P’s house, without a complete kitchen re-design.  So for the time being, the washing up is down to yours truly.  Monkey does help from time to time, train them young is my motto!

Persil Warm SpiceI’ve been rather impressed with this Persil Warm Spice, it’s seen through the grease on roasting tins and left my dishes and pans looking lovely and clean.  It foams up well and lasts for a full roast dinner wash up – always my testing standard.

My only comment would be on the container.  It’s made of very flexible plastic, so not easy to control the flow of the Persil Warm Spice washing up liquid.  You often end up with more than you actually need/want in the washing up bowl.

Other than that, I can thoroughly recommend it, and I do like the aroma too.  Priced at £1.00 for a 500ml bottle, you can find Persil Warm Spice in all the main supermarkets.  Also , keep an eye out for four other fragrances – Pink Blush, Apple Fizz and for those of you who like the smell of citrus – Orange Crush and Lemon Burst.
