Joining in with TheBoyAndMe and her linky 365 Project A Photo A Day, Every Day, For A Year! Project 365 – Week 7 Days 40 – 46.
Sunday 9th – Day 40
I was feeling under the weather (again!!) so we had a quiet day at home. Monkey was went on an air sea rescue adventure with his helicopter.
Monday 10th – Day 41 Before we had our swimming lesson I spotted a tiny moment of blue sky. It wasn’t long before it was raining again though. Swimming lesson went well, halfway through I could actually go and sit with the other Mums, rather than standing by the side of the pool.
Tuesday 11th – Day 42
We’d made some triple chocolate scones for a review and Monkey was the chief taste tester. They were really scrummy, we’ll be making them again.
Wednesday 12th – Day 43
Story time with Daddy after Nursery School.
Thursday 13th – Day 44
A dry day! Time to see what was going on in the garden. So lovely to see Snowdrops and lots of buds. Spring is on its way.
Friday 14th – Day 45
Monkey made me this shortbread heart at Nursery School, unfortunately I was only ‘given’ one little edge! The rest was his. Then we went to see a couple of his NCT buddies and they all made heart-shaped biscuits – yummy.
Saturday 15th – Day 46
Monkey and I went swimming in the morning. I was brave as we had to go in the big pool. Monkey did really well, barely needed his woggle at all. Then home for an afternoon of Lego construction.
Those scones sound delicious! Hope you are feeling better now? Love those snowdrops!
I’m ok thanks, just a bit rundown at the moment. The scones were fab
Those scones sound amazeballs! Some lovely pics of your boy…love the concentration with the lego and reading with daddy.
Those scones were lush to say the least! He is totally addicted to Lego now – love it!
nice to see signs of spring appearing. The air sea rescue looks like it was fun, hope everybody got saved successfully. Like the face on the biscuit.
Isn’t it just, we really need a little ray of hope at the moment to get us through this awful weather don’t we.
Sounds like a fun week, triple choc scones sound fabulous and I love Monkey’s shortbread heart.
It’s been busy and nothing better than cakes and biscuits
Love the blue bit of sky, really unusual shape too #project365
A little glimmer of hope amongst those grey clouds of doom
i love that blue sky picture its almost like parting of the skies to see a bit of hope
It was a ‘must take a photo’ moment for sure.
Hope you are feeling better. Nice to see some blue sky for a change. Here’s hoping it continues. That biscuit looks lovely.
Thanks, yes, I’m just a bit run down I think. So lovely to have seen a bit of blue sky this week in between all the rain.
aww I’m sure as he gets older he’ll let you eat his valentines gifts
He better had!! He did offer to make me a card over the weekend.
Lovely selection of pictures 🙂 Glad the swimming is going well, sounds like he’s doing well.
He is coming on really well, building his confidence, he was teaching me things on Saturday.
Looks like your week was OK, and lovely to see the hint of spring coming and maybe even a bit more blue sky!
Yes, Spring is on it’s way and I always love seeing life emerging in the garden.
Sorry you’ve been feeling rubbish again – this weather doesn’t help does it. I bet that shortbread heart cheered you up, even if you did only get a little bit of it!
I just need a break I think, sure a week in Spain will help along with some decent weather. Sick of rain now!
Looks like Monkey is really getting into Lego there! I love seeing the first snowdrops, a sign of hope after the shocking winter!
It’s wonderful to see signs of Spring isn’t it, makes you feel hopefully of what’s to come in the months ahead.
Hurrah – great to see some blue sky! Glad swimming is going well – it’s such a great life skill. We are just getting into lego here too – great winter activity
Yes, the weather has been a bit better this week – thankfully
Such a lovely idea, will be amazing for you to look back at the end of the year
Thank you, it’s going to be nice for my parents to see what we’ve been up to, too.
