Uum, what to own up to for this week’s #TheGallery theme – Guilty Pleasures! Cake? More cake? Holby City? As we are so close to March now, my Guilty Pleasures will have to relate to my passion for Formula One and Ferrari!
The new Formula One season starts on 14th-16th March in Melbourne, Australia. Sadly I won’t be up at the crack of dawn. We can’t afford to pay for Sky Sports, so I will be gritting my teeth, waiting for the BBC highlights programme. There will be a total news blackout in my house for the weekend until I can update myself with events from down under. Will my Ferrari’s have a turn in fortune? I love Kimi Raikkonen and am thrilled to see him back in red. He’s one of the few these days, drivers who don’t care about the media, a proper character.
So will Alonso outshine his new team-mate? Will Ferrari have a better season than last year? I’ll be on the edge of my sofa from March til November! Will I be lucky enough to win tickets to the British Grand Prix two years running? Unlikely, but you never know! In the meantime I will make use of one of my other guilty pleasures – Lego!
You have me thinking of what to choose for my Guilty Pleasure now! Good luck on the British Grand Prix comps, I’ll let you know if I spot any.
Hee hee! Thanks, I’m sure I can’t be that lucky again, but you never know.
Good choice for your guilty pleasure 🙂
You know me – not that it’s particularly a well kept secret!
Ah no! Can’t believe F1 season is nearly here again. That means I’ll be an F1 widow again every other Sunday 🙁 Hope you enjoy the season!
Yippee – can not wait! I’ll be prepping Monkey on his Go Ferrari Go Ferrari chant!
Love that your guilty pleasure is it a bit out of the ordinary. You look super cool in your cap!
Thanks, not sure that I do, it was a case of ‘Ive been up since 3am and my hair is a total mess’!
Good for you why make it a guilty pleasure and shout out you love it lol
Thanks!
My guilty pleasures are strange ones, I do like crafts and paper, but don’t treatmyself that often. Possibly nail polish is the one I sneak off an buy. I even spent a whole £20 recently! so I would say I was guilty.
That’s an unusual guilty pleasure, but fabulous.
Thank you
I have never seen the attraction of Formula 1 and I lived on the French Riviera for 12 years where everyone goes crazy for the Monaco Grand Prix every year. But enjoy your Formula 1 season and until then have fun with the lego 😉

I think it’s something you love or hate, but wish I could have swopped places with you over a Monaco weekend!
