Ryvita Crackerbread

Ryvita Crackerbread – a review

As regular readers will know I’m a bit of a Ryvita addict, either Thins or Crispbreads and I’m there like a shot, the packets are gone in the blink of an eye.  I have to say, though, I’ve not tried the Ryvita Crackerbread range before.

Ryvita CrackerbreadRyvita have recently added two new flavours to their Crackerbread range – Cheese and Pepper.

With just 19 calories and 0.2g of fat (0.03g of which saturates) the Crackerbreads make a perfect alternative to bread for a light snack with healthy toppings.  They can also be great for lunch boxes ….

Now I had meant to try these before we went on holiday but time was against me.  It was nice to know I had something in the cupboard when we got back.  Ryvita Crackerbread in Cheese and Pepper, something new to try.

Ryvita CrackerbreadI brought some Chorizo sausage home from Spain so I tried some of that with the Pepper Crackerbread.  For the cheese Crackerbread I’ve added some cream cheese and cucumber (you can never have too much cheese in this house).

Both options were really light and tasty, I actually prefer the Pepper flavoured Crackerbread, just a slight kick of heat.  Nice!

Even Monkey tried some, he preferred the Cheese, and totally plain.

Ryvita CrackerbreadToday we’ve all eaten some of the Pepper Ryvita Crackerbread with some Minestrone soup – delicious!

Ryvita CrackerbreadIt’s been really nice to try something completely new for me from a brand I know well.  I’m a Ryvita girl through and through!

disclaimer:  we were sent samples of these products in exchange for an honest review.
