Pampering a cat with Pets at Home

Pampering a cat with Pets at HomeWhen we went to Spain, Brewster, our cat, went on a Staycation to a local Cattery.  It was his third visit, he is no trouble when he’s there.  He gets loads of fuss and attention, but that doesn’t stop him making me feel guilty when I pick him up.  He certainly knows how to sulk!  I needed something to win him over!  We’ve been pampering a cat with Pets at Home.

We have a local store that I use regularly, and when we were offered the opportunity to review a few items for Brewster, I knew that this was purrfect timing!

Pampering a cat with Pets at HomePampering a cat with Pets at Home is very easy.  They have a great range of products, whether you’re looking for bedding, toys or treats.  As well as the well stocked shops, you can also buy direct via their on-line shop with free delivery for orders over £29.00.

The first thing I selected was a lap mat, with furry lining on one side.  Brewster has a doughnut style bed, but to be honest he is just too big for it now.  He doesn’t use it, he has a couple of favourite spots on the carpet.  So I thought this mat would give him a bit of extra comfort.  It also fits inside his cat basket, so hopefully trips to the Vets and Cattery will be more comfortable for our pampered puss.

He also has a lovely new collar, but with all that fur I think you’ll have to take my word for it.

As Brewster is a long-haired cat, we do have problems with hair balls from time to time, so some treats that help to tackle this issue seemed like a good idea.  They didn’t last long!  Brewster also has a lovely Kitty Cuddle Pal for later in the year.  On a cold evening, this can be warmed in the microwave and he can snuggle up.  He is going to love that idea.

Then of course, Brewster needs some play time, so a few toy treats were definitely needed to help with his pampering.  It would appear that he likes to wear one of them!

disclaimer:  we were sent the items shown in return for an honest review.

  1. It’s amazing the range of treats you can buy for pets now. I’d love to say Brewster looks like he has forgiven you but he still looks grumpy in that bottom photo!

  2. We love pets at home too and they are great for our regular cat food. I know ours would love that blanket as they fight over the boys dressing gown, they would need one each though!

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
