Mole's In Love

Mole’s In Love – a book review

Back in February I won a giveaway run by Egmont UK and received a copy of Mole’s In Love by David Bedford.

Mole's In Love

I have to say, that I was under no obligation to write a review for this book.  But we love it, so I wanted to share our thoughts with you.

Mole’s In Love is a 32 page picture book aimed at children from 3 years of age.  The front cover features cut out hearts, a lovely little detail.  This is the perfect book for this time of year, as we meet Morris the Mole as he emerges from his mole hole in springtime.

Morris is on a mission, he is looking for someone to love.  Now we all know that moles are somewhat short-sighted, so this mission is rather eventful.

Mole's In Love

The beautiful illustrations by Rosalind Beardshaw bring Mole’s In Love to life, it really is a lovely, funny story.

Would Morris ever find love?  Well with the help of a shiny new pair of glasses, there’s a happy ending to this story.

Priced at £5.99 we can recommend this as a lovely addition to any bookshelf.
