V8 V-Fusion – a review

V8 V-FusionI have to be totally honest, I’m not the biggest fan of fruit juices myself, although Daddy P and Monkey do like them a lot.  I was intrigued when I heard of the new V8 V-Fusion range though, a fruit and veggie juice drink!  I knew we’d have to try this for ourselves.

V8 V-Fusion

New V8 V-Fusion is a great tasting way to get two of your five-a-day. Most people know that vegetables are an integral part of a healthy diet, yet 7 out of 10 adults still fail to consume the recommended daily serving.

Proving that ‘being good’ doesn’t have to taste bad, V8 V-Fusion is made from 100% fruit and vegetable juice. Just one tasty, 250 ml serving gives you one whole serving of fruit and one whole serving of vegetables; that’s 2 of your 5-a-day. Blended to perfection with no artificial flavours, colours, preservatives or additives, V8 V-Fusionprides itself on its scrumptious taste and inspired fruit and vegetable flavour combinations. It also provides an excellent source of Vitamin C.

We received a 750ml carton of the V8 V-Fusion Passion Fruit, Mango and Carrot juice to try.  There is also a V8 V-Fusion Raspberry and Beetroot flavour available.

So what did we think?  Well, even I liked it.  It was smooth, you could really taste the mango, and there was a hint of something else.  I’ve never drunk Carrot juice, but Daddy P being the expert of all things fruit and veg related, was impressed.  Monkey loved it!

V8 V-Fusion

The V8 V-Fusion drink we received contained the following juices from concentrate – sweet potato juice, apple juice, carrot juice, orange juice, along with mango puree, vitamin C and natural flavouring.

You can buy the 750ml cartons from Waitrose and Tesco for £1.89, we will certainly be adding this to our shopping basket, and I’m really curious to try the Raspberry and Beetroot flavour – I can’t quite imagine what that will taste like/

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum in my late 40′s with a 7 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure.
