Ladybird Skullabones Island

Ladybird Skullabones Island – a sticker book review

Sticker books provide children with lots of entertainment, I loved them as a child, just as Monkey does now.  With the half term holiday looming, they are a great idea to have handy.  Monkey’s been having lots of fun with the Ladybird  Skullabones Island: How to be a Skullabones Pirate! sticker book.

Ladybird Skullabones Island

Perfect for any Pirate mate out there, the Ladybird Skullabones Island sticker book is aimed at children over the age of 3 years and is crammed full of activities and loads of stickers.

As you would expect from a Ladybird book, the quality of this sticker book is great.  The pages are made of thick paper, so won’t tear easily and the stickers themselves are really colourful.  It’s given us lots of discussion points and added new words to Monkey’s vocabulary.  He is now a full-blown pirate apprentice!

Monkey has really enjoyed working through the Ladybird Skullabones Island: How to be a Skullabones Pirate! sticker book.  He’s been matching the right stickers to the right pages, solving the spot the differences and following the observation tasks.  Even when you’ve matched all the relevant stickers, there are still 4 pages full of extra stickers.  Monkey has made his own pirate treasure map and scenes and making up his own pirate story.

I’ve been really impressed with this book, and with what Monkey has got out of it.

Priced at £5.99 we can both recommend the Ladybird Skullabones Island: How to be a Skullabones Pirate! Sticker book.  We even got to spot the ladybird on every page – perfect for my little bug hunter!

disclaimer:  we were sent this book in exchange for an honest review.

  1. Oh I love sticker books! I get a bit OCD though when LP doesn’t stick the stickers in the right place, I think I need to learn to relax a little! x
