Project 365 - Week 21

Project 365 – Week 21

Joining in with TheBoyAndMe and her linky 365 Project  A Photo A Day, Every Day, For A Year!  Project 365 – Week 21 Days 138-144.

Sunday 18th May – Day 138

Project 365 - Week 21

Monkey spent the morning with a family friend so that Daddy P and I could sort some house stuff out.  In the afternoon he came on a tip run with us in one of Daddy’s van’s.  He was very excited.  Daddy P had finally cleared some of the junk from the garage – you can see the floor now!  Monkey had been really good all day, and we had the opportunity to review a local restaurant, so we took him out for dinner.

Monday 19th May – Day 139

Project 365 - Week 21

What a glorious day!  When Monkey came home from school he decided to set up his band in the garden.  Mummy! Sing! Then it was off for his swimming lesson.  He has stayed in Stage 1 – no surprise, but I can see slow signs of improvement, he takes after his mother after all!  I had the girls over for a curry and we tried out Catch Phrase – great game, if you haven’t got it.

Tuesday 20th May – Day 140

Project 365 - Week 21

Time for some more planting, this time we planted some flower seeds.  Monkey as always is in charge!

Wednesday 21st May – Day 141

Project 365 - Week 21

Another lovely afternoon, so time to have some bubble fun.  Then my friend came round to cut Monkey’s hair.  His hair grows so fast and becomes totally unmanageable overnight.  She did a great job and now he looks very smart.

Thursday 22nd May – Day 142

Project 365 - Week 21

Someone walked out of Nursery School in a foul mood -oh no, I was in for a fun afternoon. He was so obviously tired, but the idea of actually closing his eyes for half an hour, is beyond him.  He did sit on the sofa for all of five minutes, but wasn’t a happy bunny for the rest of the afternoon.  It was a long time until bedtime!

Friday 23rd May – Day 143

Project 365 - Week 21

It’s been a while since Brewster was in the limelight.  He’d obviously had a busy night on the tiles!  We spent the afternoon with friends, playing, crafting, having fun.  Then off for my swimming lesson – frustrating, don’t feel I’m improving at the moment.  Need to practice more!

Saturday 24th May – Day 144
Project 365 - Week 21

It’s been pouring down here all day, so we decided the only thing to do was to bake.  We made some Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes, more on those later in the week.  All the talk of ice cream made us both want some.  Luckily we’ve got some to review – blogging is such a hardship at times.  It got a big thumbs up from Monkey.

  5. Just love the bubbles photo. I’m definitely wanting to pick up a bubble machine this summer, especially as N’s rubbish at blowing them!

Monkey looks v smart indeed with his new haircut.

They say it’s normal for children to plateau with swimming, so I’d think it would be similar for adults.
