DGJ Organics Wild n Crazy range – a review

DGJ Organics Wild n Crazy range

You may remember that we reviewed the Kids Top to Toe for DGJ Organics last year.  It was a big hit with Monkey at bath time.  We were thrilled to be sent some products from the DGJ Organics Wild N Crazy range  recently.  They arrived along with the Kids Top to Toe 3 in one conditioning shampoo and body wash with organic orange and grapefruit oil.

The first item to grab my attention was the Wild n Crazy Kids Swim All Over Wash.  Very handy for Monkey’s swimming lessons.  As with all DGJ Organics products this contains no Parabens or SLS.  It contains organic blueberry and coconut extracts, so smells devine.   As it’s an all over wash, you don’t need to take a separate shampoo to the swimming pool with you which is handy.  It also contains a reducing agent which helps to dissipate the affects of chlorine in swimming pools and sea water.  There is a no tears formula and it’s been a winner here.

The Wild n Crazy Kids Lice Repel Shampoo is proving effective too.  Again it smells good enough to eat (don’t!  but you know what I mean, it smells lovely).  The organic strawberry and lemon eucalyptus extracts shampoo contains a natural head lice repellent.  We are always getting letters sent home from Nursery School advising us that head lice have made an appearance in class.  Thankfully, so far. Monkey has avoided these critters!

We also received the Wild n Crazy Kids Detangle Shampoo.  This is made with organic watermelon essential oils.  As Monkey was rather short hair, he doesn’t have the tangled hair issues that I remember my nieces having.  This bottle is going to be tested out by my god-daughter when we next see her.  She is the perfect candidate, with long hair!  I’m sure this shampoo will work wonders and save lots of tears.

DGJ Organics Wild n Crazy rangeA firm favourite in this house is the DGJ Organics Top to Toe conditioning shampoo and body wash range.  Now I’m not a fan of anything smelling of citrus, so whilst Daddy P and Monkey like the smell of Orange and Grapefruit, I really don’t.  So you’ll have to take my word for it, when Daddy P is in charge of bath time this is the product they use.  I know it’s fab, I just don’t like the smell.  It’s just me.

You can buy all of the products mentioned for £3.99 per 250ml bottle on the DGJ Organics website.  We really do recommend them all.

disclaimer:  we were sent the items featured in exchange for an honest review.

About over40andamumtoone

I’m a first time, full time Mum in my 40′s. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. We’ve had a busy 3 years so far, but now as Monkey has started pre-school I’ve decided to start a blog about our journey and experiences from here on in. We also have a kitten called Brewster who will be making appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari F1 fan, so am sure that will slip in to the blog too. We love reviewing toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.

I’ve not seen this brand before, the scents sound lovely. I could do with some detangling shampoo for myself!!

  2. I love citrus, I have a really poor sense of smell, so things often smell a bit different to me, but citrus always smells fresh – except washing up liquid, which generally smells of mud!

  3. These look good, and I do like the idea of a lice repelling shampoo, too.
