The Best of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – DVD reviews

Lionsgate Home Entertainment released The Best of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVDs last month.  Each of the great pizza love heroes has his own DVD, containing 3 themed episodes from the 1980’s.

I can remember when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles first hit our screens, Donatello was always my favourite of the 4 turtle backed super heroes.  These 4 newly released DVD’s showcase the best of Donatello, Raphael, Michangelo and Leonardo as they keep the baddies at bay.

As I mentioned, the episodes shown are from the original TV series, the animation is very much of its time.  Still great to watch.  Watching these DVD’s was Monkey’s first introduction to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and to this sort of cartoon animation. He loved the TMNT’s themselves, but being the rather timid chap that he is, he got rather scared when the baddies came on-screen.  So my 4 and half year old son, isn’t quite sure at the moment.  We’ll leave it a while and try again.  I know that in the fullness of time he is going to love these characters and the DVD’s will be a big hit.

From their origins on the comic book page to the depths of Dimension X and beyond, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, with the guidance of their Sensei, have been delighting fans for decades with their turtle power. Whether it’s facing fierce enemies Krang™, Shredder™ and Lord Dregg™, saving humanity from near extinction, or battling against
life-altering mutations, the half-shell heroes are always ready for heart-stopping, straight-outta-the-sewer action!

If you fancy winning a set of the 4 The Best of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVD’s then head over to Red Rose Mummy who is currently running a giveaway.
