I’ve been struggling to keep on top of reading and commenting on posts again. I know, slap wrists! So I totally missed Week 1 of PODCasts new weekly linky, so here is my The B&W Photography Project Week 2.
I love black and white photographs but it’s not something I actually do myself. This project will be a great one to get me thinking differently.
But at the moment, I’m just going to go back through old photographs and see what I like in black and white. What works and what doesn’t. If you’ve read my blog for a while you will know that poppies are close to my heart. I wasn’t sure about transforming that colour, but actually I really like the way the black and white takes you to the heart of each poppy.
What do you think?
wow thats beautiful and so very symbolic #bwphotoproject
Thank you
I like it, I think we all know the colour and how beautiful they are. Such a poignant flower, especially this year being 100 years since WW1. It looks timeless and I like it a lot! #bwphotoproject
Thank you
I think it looks great and they do seem to stand out more xx
Thanks.
Yeah – I agree that black and white takes you to the black of the poppy.
Nice shot. x
Thank you.
I’m struggling to keep up this week too. I really like how black and white makes contrasts so much more detailed and interesting.
yes I agree on both points x
It does look interesting in black and white. Great photo.
Thank you
Oh wow Mary I love this, the contrast between the black and the white is just wonderful. Lovely to have you hear and don’t worry I’m seriously behind too (as always!). The days in London are killing me, well the commute is! Amazing photo, thank you so much for sharing with #bwphotoproject x
Yes, I have no idea how you do it Charly!
