Personalised Christmas cards – a review

Personalised Christmas Cards

I was recently approached by StressFreePrint to see if I’d like to order some personalised Christmas cards.  Yes, I really do like to be organised!  Having a son with a birthday in December, you do tend to plan ahead at this time of year.  I’ve made up photo Christmas cards in previous years where I’ve bought the frames and inserted photos of Monkey looking suitably festive in a Christmas hat.  It was time for a change.

StressFreePsrint are unsurprisingly an on-line printing company offering all kinds of print options.  They pride themselves of exceeding customer expectations.  Time to put that to the test.

The order process for the A5 sized Personalised Christmas Cards is easy – pick colours, finish and whether you require envelopes (why would you not?).  You can split your order over a number of different designs and get help from the team at StressFreePrint if you need artistic guidance.

I selected the photo I wanted to use (a number of formats are acceptable, pdf being the favourite, but I used jpeg), the text I wanted to be shown on the front, back and inside of the card and placed my order.

I then received an email containing a draft of my design to approve/amend.  The design team had added a Christmas themed border to my artwork which I really liked.  I was happy, and the order was processed and despatched within a couple of days.

I received 50 personalised Christmas cards, along with envelopes which would cost £60.20.  Sounds a bit expensive, but for a personalised card and the service you receive, I’ve been impressed.  The quality of the card itself is good and the photo has been reproduced to a high standard.  I’m happy.

Now Granny and Gramps, I know that you’ll be reading this post, so please stop reading now! or you won’t get much of a surprise in the post come December.

  1. I’ve sent out personalised cards a couple of years, with N in silly hat etc. But I’ve only done 10 cards for close family, and usually via free vistaprint offers! I’m too tight to pay much

Love your card though, as it looks quite snowy.

  2. That is a lovely card. There is no way I would spend that much on 50 Christmas cards but might buy a few for close family and friends.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
