Fireman Sam Ocean Rescue DVD

A couple of weeks ago we headed down to London for a little adventure.  We were off to see the new Fireman Sam Ocean Rescue DVD inside Tower Bridge.  We had been invited on the RIB Boat Experience on the River Thames but the timing was tight with our train and I wasn’t sure Monkey would enjoy it.  So we caught the train and headed across London on the Underground with a rather excited Monkey.

Monkey loves Fireman Sam and I knew he’d love watching the 6 episodes that make up the new Fireman Sam Ocean Rescue DVD.  He was so excited to find Fireman Sam waiting for us when we arrived at Tower Bridge.

Monkey was feeling so brave he actually stood with me to have his photo taken with Fireman Sam- update!  We now have the photo to show you.  Love it.

Once everyone was seated it was time to watch the DVD which runs for 70 minutes and shows us the adventures Fireman Sam has with Juno and the Ocean Rescue Centre.  The episodes featured are:

All At Sea
Whale Watch
The Pontypandy Cup
Turtle Hunt
The Treasure Trap
Stage Fright

Monkey’s favourite is Turtle Hunt – when Mandy persuades Norman to row out to sea in search of a sea turtle; with Norman involved it obviously goes horribly wrong.  Luckily the sea turtle has recently had a camera fitted by Tom Thomas and the children are spotted in distress on the camera.

He sat spellbound throughout the screening and we’ve watched it repeatedly over the last few weeks.

Any Fireman Sam fan is going to love this DVD which was released on 22nd September, and priced at £6.00.  It’s an ideal stocking filler with Christmas on the horizon.

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum in my late 40′s with a 7 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
