The B&W Photography Project Week 17 with PODCast, and this time I’m taking you to the seaside. We spent last weekend in Kent, the weather was amazing for the time of year and Monkey loved every minute of our latest adventure. We spent Monday in Deal and this bird was just crying out to be photographed.
I’m really pleased with this shot and think it works rather well in black and white. I’m presuming he is a gull of some sort, but I’m not sure of the exact species. He was taking a moment to have a preen, but he looks so thoughtful in this shot doesn’t he? Wonder what’s going on in his head?
Very beautiful photo. Love it.
Thanks
Fab photo – I bet he’s thinking “I know I pit it down here somewhere, yes it’s just a small little pebble… now which one was it…!”
I think you could be right
Great capture, I wonder what it is looking at. I must say I’m not a fan of birds. I grew up in a sea side town and the seagulls would steal food from your hands!
LOL – yes I remember one at St Ives pinching my Cornish Pasty – cheeky thing
I agree that this photo looks good in black and white! I think he is thinking if there’s food in there somewhere =P #bwphotoproject

That bird was indeed crying out to be photographed. Glad you did. Marvellous shout. #bwphotoproject
