We were recently asked if we’d like to Apes-A-Go-Go! by Roman Milisic which was published back in August of this year.
This large 32 page paperback book was published in August through HarperCollins and is full of action from a group of rather naughty apes.
The Mayor of an extremely tidy town meets his match when he complains to Fussy Great Ape that a flower is taller than the rest in a flower bed. Before you know it, the great ape has summons his friends and all sorts of chaos and mayhem ensues.
My Monkey was giggled away as I read Apes-A-Go-Go! to him. The various Apes were all trying to help, but each one made matters worse. The town was no longer pretty or perfect and the Mayor was furious. But then along came Baking Great Ape who excelled at making cakes.
Without telling you the entire story, suffice to say that the moral of Apes-A-Go-Go! is that things don’t have to be perfect. There are more important things in life, a good lesson for any young ape or Monkey to learn.
disclaimer: we were sent this book in exchange for an honest review.
