A new bracelet for a new year

A new bracelet for a new year – review and reader discount

If you followed me on Instagram last year, then you may remember my ‘Bracelet a Day’ photo posts – all 58 of them!  Yes, I love jewellery and I really love bracelets.  So when Edolym asked me if I’d like to review something from their site you can guess what I picked.  It had to be a new bracelet for a new year didn’t it!

A new bracelet for a new year

Edolym is a small jewellery making business who pride themselves on quality and good customer service.  Through their Etsy page they offer a range of necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings using gemstones with silver plated and sterling silver findings.  They also offer a custom-made service, great if you have something specific in mind.

I picked the Mixed Gemstone Chip Bracelet priced at £14.00.

A new bracelet for a new year

A new bracelet for a new year and it’s not blue – are you impressed!  I love the colours in this piece and thought they would give me the flexibility to wear the bracelet with a number of different outfits.  In fact, I’ve worn it every day since it arrived.

This double stranded bracelet is made from chips of the following semi-precious gemstones:

Multi-colour Tourmaline, Tigers Eye, Black Onyx and multi-colour Moonstone.  The findings are silver plated.

I have quite small wrists (15cms diameter – I can wear kids bracelets) so I do have to be careful that bracelets don’t drown me and fit.  This bracelet is a perfect fit for me, total length 18.5cms.  Ladies with slightly larger wrists might need something a little longer and I would suggest discussing this with Edolym if you were purchasing a bracelet.

The findings look to be securely fixed and the stones are well strung.  I’m going to be enjoying my new bracelet for some time to come and I look forward to seeing more creations from Edolym in the future.  You can keep up to date with the range over on their Facebook page.

I’ve been really pleased with the latest addition to my jewellery box and bracelet number 59!  I’m also thrilled to be able to offer my readers a 15% discount on all purchases using the coupon code MPO40 up until the 31st January 2015.  With Valentines Day just around the corner, why not poke someone in the ribs and mention this offer!

  1. I do love tourmaline. It’s a lovely stone. I used to make and sell jewellery, and I’m astounded how cheap this is for a gemstone bracelet. I found I couldn’t make a profit allowing for my time and the fact that people mostly don’t want to pay the money that it costs for materials and time.

  2. That’s beautiful. I almost never wear bracelets because my wrists are so tiny. (I don’t know my size but can easily wear kid’s ones.) It’s nice to know I just might have a workable option.

  3. Although the bracelet isn’t at all my style I do think the colours are absolutely gorgeous. Really neutral without being boring.
