My Valentine – a Baker Ross craft session

Baker Ross Blogger Network

You might have noticed the shiny new badge on my blog!  Monkey and I are looking forward to sharing news of some great new craft sets from Baker Ross with you all over the coming months. Today we are showing you a couple of items from the Valentine’s section – will you be my Valentine Mummy?

My Valentine

We received a set of Love Bug Foam stickers and some great Heart Foam Glasses.

My Valentine

The Valentine Foam Glasses come pre-assembled and make the perfect after school project for a tired 5 year old Monkey.  It was time to pimp our glasses.

My Valentine

The foam Love Bug Stickers were an instant hit with my mini beat loving Monkey son.  He was soon busy decorating his glasses.  I did suggest that he could use some of the self adhesive gems we had left from Christmas, but no, we were on for a Valentine bug-fest!

My Valentine

Will you be my Valentine Mummy?  How could I refuse?  Monkey really enjoyed this crafting activity and it was a great way to get him to sit quietly after school and have a bit of fun.

He thought it was hysterical when Mummy got hit by the love bug too!  These sets work really well together and if you are mess adverse, they really are ideal – no glue required!

The Love Bug Foam Sticker set is £2.99 for a set of 120 stickers and the Heart Foam Glasses are £3.96 for a pack of 6.  I have a feeling we will be making a Valentine’s Day card with some of our love bug stickers soon.  I wonder who Monkey will be asking to be his Valentine this year?

Next month we’ll be bringing you some lovely Spring and Mothers Day themed craft sets.

disclaimer:  we were sent these items in exchange for an honest review

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum in my late 40′s with a 7 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
