Fairytale: Story of the Seven Dwarves – review and giveaway

Fairytale: Story of the Seven Dwarves is a charming animated film which mixes different fairy tales into one new story.  We have been lucky enough to get a peek at this new release.

Fairytale: The Story of the Seven Dwarves

Princess Rose sends her true love Jake off to the safety of the home of the seven dwarves just before her 18th birthday.  You’d think she’d want to share the celebrations but no, she needs a back up plan!  As a baby the evil witch Dellamorta cast a curse on her – before she turns 18, she will prick a sharp object, which will see both her and the community of Fantabularasa Castle frozen  for 100 years.  She wants Jake to be available to come and rescue her and the kingdom from the ice should the prophecy come to pass.

Of course things don’t go quite to plan.  The Seven Dwarves turn up at the castle to enjoy the Princess’s birthday with a wonderful cake, but poor Bobo is rather clumsy and causes the Princess to prick her finger.  Can the dwarves escape before they are encased in ice? Can Jake come to the rescue?

We follow Bobo and his friends as the go in search of Jake, who has been captured by Dellamorta.  They face dragons and great danger along the way, but it’s a fairytale with a happy ending.

It’s a lovely little tale and we can recommend it.  Fairytale: Story of the Seven Dwarves is being released on 16th March but I have 2 copies that I can offer to you!  Complete the Gleam form below for your chance to win a copy.

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum in my late 40′s with a 7 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.

  1. I couldn’t think of anything so asked my hubby , he said “frumpy” !!!!! needless to say he wont be getting any tea tonight LOL x

  2. Bossy – thats what the kids call me when I have asked them a million times to do something and it finally sinks in they actually need to do it. Its ” Mummmmmm you are sooooo bossyyyyyyy!!!” lol!

  3. Fjuliakzskacliak – because no one would be able to pronounce it, but it’d be funny watching people trying to because they’d think they might offend me if they didn’t attempt it.

  4. Rush, as I often seem to be rushing. As there seems to be so much to do :- with such little time. I could do with a magic wand etc.

  5. Forgetful
I can go upstairs for something and get to the top of the stairs and totally forgot what went up there for.

  6. Insecure, I am 69 now but have this underline feeling of insecurity all my life, it’s a pain in the buttocks, but also means I try Harder.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
