Where did those 2 weeks go

Where did those 2 weeks go?

Wow, it’s 13th April, where did those 2 weeks go?  Monkey went back to school today after an action packed Easter holiday. I took a much-needed break from the blog to enjoy every moment with him and to have some chill out time in the evenings.

Where did those 2 weeks go

So what did we get up to?  We certainly weren’t twiddling our thumbs! We spent the first week in Cornwall on holiday at Coombe Mill before returning home to witness Monkey pedal his bike for the very first time!  We followed that up with Easter Monday fun at Blenheim Palace with our NCT group, met up with Tina and her son from The Soup Dragon Says at The Vyne in Hampshire and discovered Colourscape at Waddesdon Manor with Iona from Redpeffer and her son.  We went geo-caching for the first time near to Stonehenge with Monkey’s godmum and her daughter on Saturday which was great fun.  I celebrated my birthday yesterday at Kenilworth Castle and returned home with a stinking cold, but otherwise it was a great day.

Over the coming weeks I’ll be sharing our holiday fun in more detail.  There have been a lot of firsts and some wonderful memories were made.  So hello April!  spring certainly seems to have arrived, and I hope you enjoy following our adventures again.  I’ve got lots of reviews to share with you too as well as the day I got to meet the legend that is Mary Berry!

I’d love to hear what you’ve all been up to while I’ve been off-line.  I hope you’ve had lots of fun too?

  1. Manic holiday time then. Not surprised you came back with a cold. Probably need to sleep after that scheduling! Glad you had a great break.

I saw the Mary Berry feature in the Banbury Guardian, but there was only really a Mary picture and didn’t really say much about what the event was. So no being able to spot you and say ‘I know her’.

  2. Blimey, you fit so much in! It looks like you had a fabulous time! Those two weeks flew by for us too x

  3. I always know I need to book up with you early, otherwise there’s no chance of us meeting up! You always manage to pack in a huge amount of stuff-we enjoyed sharing some of it with you x

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
