As you will have seen in my Banking for Victory post yesterday I got to meet Mary Berry last month. My invite was fairly last minute so I hadn’t had much time to think of a suitable outfit. Thankfully help was at hand and I was dressing the part with House of Fraser.
I was really surprised by the number of dresses available and was spoilt for choice. I don’t think it will come as too much surprise to regular readers that I went for a dress where blue featured quite heavily!
I chose the Izabel London A-Line Abstract Print Dress is a size 10. Totally me right? With changeable weather this was the perfect dress for me. If the weather on the day had been kinder I would have gone for tights and heels, but it was wet and cold, so I opted for boots!
It was my first time wearing an Izabel London outfit, and actually I could have got away with a size 8, but the styling is such that it works just as well with a looser fit.
I’m a big fan of scooped necklines and look at me going all patterned again! The dress is made from a 95% polyester/5% elastane mix, and washes well on a cool machine wash.
It’s the kind of dress that you can wear to a function and just as easily wear with leggings on a trip out with the kids. I really love it.
Now, I don’t know about you but when I think of House of Fraser, I always think quality but I also think higher prices too. Well can you believe this dress only cost £22, and actually it is currently on sale for £10!! Certainly, if you are on a budget of up to £50 then you can definitely find a whole host of quality dresses at really affordable prices at House of Fraser.
disclaimer: we were sent the item mentioned in exchange for an honest review
