The B&W Photography Project Week 41

The B&W Photography Project Week 41 with PODCast and I’m glad to be back after a few weeks away.  I’ve been spending a lot of time trawling through our holiday photos and I fell in love with this one in particular.

The B&W Photography Project Week 41

We spent the first week of the Easter holidays in Cornwall and stayed at Coombe Mill, which even now, seems like a dream.  My friend Iona from Redpeffer was already booked to stay there and when our families became good friends last year, we decided to go too.  It was to be our first proper family holiday, not including trips to Spain visiting my parents.

I will write about our adventures in a separate post soon, but this photo sums up the week quite well.  Friendships enjoyed, experiences shared, memories made.

Our holiday was a wonderful experience but for Monkey especially, having his own friends to share that with was extra special.  For an only child to have other children to spend quality time with is a luxury.  The happiness of the moment is written all over Monkey’s face.  I would love to bottle this moment and keep it close at hand in the years ahead.

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum in my late 40′s with a 7 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
