Project 365 2015 Week 17

Joining in with TheBoyAndMe and her linky Project 365. A Photo A Day, Every Day, For A Year!  Project 365 2015 Week 17 Days 109-115.

Sunday 19th April – Day 109

Project 365 2015 Week 17

We had a wonderful day at Drayton Manor Park, visiting Thomasland and trying out the new rides.  Monkey went on two of the new rides, old rides he’d been on before and even tried a couple of old rides he wouldn’t go on before.  This boy is ever gaining confidence and it’s a joy to watch.

Monday 20th April – Day 110

Project 365 2015 Week 17

A day of shopping, washing and ironing for me whilst Monkey was at school, followed by my sewing machine lesson.  My almost brand new machine has been causing lots of problems so I’ve got to try to get it looked at under the warranty.  Wish me luck.  I spent the lesson cutting out a pattern and then the fabric for a top for me.  Then it was off to pick Monkey up from school – bless him he’d had an accident and felt very sorry for himself.

Tuesday 21st April – Day 111

Project 365 2015 Week 17

What a glorious sunny day.  Our internet connection hell caused havoc with my efforts to get some blog posts written up and in the end I just had to walk away and enjoy the sunshine.  Monkey didn’t seem to be bothered at swimming today, not looking promising to make the leap to stage 2.  But at least with the better weather he seems happier and was straight out in the garden after his lesson.  Digging until bedtime keeps him smiling.

Wednesday 22nd April – Day 112
Project 365 2015 Week 17

I was back at Jado Chi for the first time since before the Easter holidays, it all started to come flooding back and was wonderful to chill out for a while.  More internet frustrations awaited at home – grrr so I decided to enjoy some time in the garden and Brewster joined me.  I think he looks rather majestic in this shot.  We had to abandon our Skype session with Granny and Gramps due to the connection, Daddy P’s laptop went away for a service and Monkey was tired and rather grumpy.

Thursday 23rd April – Day 113

Project 365 2015 Week 17

I had a wonderful morning enjoying a Reflexology session for a review, which left me calm and focused for the day ahead.  Daddy P’s laptop returned, sadly the internet didn’t.  Well it did, and then went and came back and left again.  Mighty frustrating.  The saga continues.  But in other news I picked Monkey up from school, he wasn’t happy about having to have his hair cut but we got there in the end.  After dinner he did a little bit of drawing and chilled out.

Friday 24th April – Day 114

Project 365 2015 Week 17

So we might be getting somewhere with the internet at last.  Fingers crossed and we’re going to try a Skype session with Spain later.  Monkey’s had a new Aquabeads set to review and this morning he set me a challenge to make him a Brewster.  I used the template for a Lion that we’d made earlier in the week to make this.  Hope they both approve!

Saturday 25th April – Day 115

Project 365 2015 Week 17

I’ve spent the day at BlogCamp in Birmingham, meeting up with old friends and making new ones.  Thinking of things I need to put in place on the blog over the months ahead. The sky on the way home summed up my feeling – I can see the light.

  1. yay for internet being back. hope monkey’s face is ok now. one of these days I will attend a blogging conference!! x

  2. Poor Monkey, his cheek looks very sore, hope he feels better now. Brewster is gorgeous as always, such a dandy! Cute Aquabeads cat.

  3. Ouch to his little accident, hope he’s feeling much better. Drayton Manor looks fantastic, I’ve never considered going before seeing all the reviews of bloggers!

  4. I know your pain on the internet, although yours has certainly dragged on a lot longer than my issues did a while back. You’d have thought with being in a town you’d have had no problems with the internet. Hope it’s sorted now.

  5. Awe, his face does look sore! I hope it is healing nicely now. Awesome trip to Thomas Land by the sound of it. That’s a great shot of Brewster! 😉

  6. Your boy looks so tall in the garden pic – even though he’s crouching down! Hope he’s perked up now after his scrape. We had similar issues with our Internet a while back and after countless technician visits they finally upgraded the modem thingy. Virgin by any chance??!!

  7. Internet problems aren’t fun, especially when you rely on it for working. Hopefully you’ll have a better week this week with it.

  8. Monkey’s face really did look a mess, I hope it is healing quickly. I hope you manage to get the internet issues sorted soon too – I can only imagine how frustrating it must be.

  9. Hope Monkey’s face heals soon. Good to see you on Saturday even if ever so briefly. H is similar to Monkey and won’t go on some of the rides, in fact I often think they sound very similar characters, but a few years apart in age.

  10. Oh dear at his face, I would say every right to feel sorry for himself.
The internet not working is a right royal pain in the backside………and so so frustrating as well.
Glad he enjoyed Thomas Land and it is really nice to read he is coming on and gaining confidence

  11. Oh bless Monkey, I hope his face healed quickly, that looks nasty! #project365
