You may recall that I got a sneak peek at the Jacques Vert Group SS15 collection back in November. Part of the collection was very much focussed on being bright and bold in lace.
I wore a lace dress for my 18th birthday party many moons ago. It was black, strapless and amazingly I can still get in it now! But it’s certainly not very summery. Looking at the JVGSS15 collection it’s clear to see that the range of colours and styles offer something flattering for all shapes and for a whole host of events.
Being me, I was instantly drawn to the blue laces dresses and especially this Electric Blue lace dress from Kaliko.
Looking bright and bold in lace, and in my favourite shade of blue too! I do find the JVG sizings are generous, so I went for size 8 in this Kaliko Lace Dress . I love the scoop neckline and little cup sleeves, and the seam detailing gives a fitted feel.
I don’t have the nicest legs and knees in the world (even if they were wonderfully tanned) so the length of 99.5cms in perfect for me! The dress can be machine washed at 40 degrees which always makes life easier.
Looking bright and bold in lace and I’m going to enjoy wearing this lovely dress over the months ahead. Priced at £99.00, the quality is just as you would expect and it’s a classic styling that will stand up to the test of time.
