Feeling bold with Apricot

Feeling bold with Apricot

I do love clothes and a bit of retail therapy will always put a spring in my step.  I know I’m a bit predictable, I love my blues and tend to shy away from patterns, but I’m trying to be braver this year, trying to make some changes to my wardrobe choices.  With that in mind I am certainly feeling bold with Apricot and their Eclectic Paisley Print Shift Dress.  Look, patterns and lots of colour variations!  Go me!

Feeling bold with Apricot is certainly something different for me!  Apricot are a clothing retailer with a great online site too.  I was really impressed with the online selection and was spoilt for choice.  With a holiday to Spain getting ever closer I felt this new addition to my summer wardrobe would be really flexible.

The paisley pattern offers lots of interest and the colours will give me great scope for accessorising.

I opted for a size 8 and it’s a great fit, made from 100% polyester it doesn’t crease easily and feels really comfortable.  The dress measures 83 cms from shoulder to hem, with less anemic looking legs on holiday I may be tempted to wear this as a dress, but for now I love the fact that it works just as well for a tunic.

I can wear it with jeans, fitted trousers or leggings and it works well with all.  The sleeve length is ideal for warmer weather and I can see me getting so much wear out of it this year.

Only one downside – it’s handwash only, but I’ll live with that as I’m really happy to be feeling bold with Apricot.  I’m enjoying a splash of colour, of course there’s still blue to be seen, but for me this is a really different look.  I’m happy.

Apricot have everything covered from casual clothing to more formal dresses and are certainly worth a look.  This dress would be a bargain at £25.00 but it’s currently on sale for £15.00!

disclaimer:  we were sent the item mentioned in exchange for an honest review.

  1. I’m very much a blue wearing person too, but I think this looks great, it really suits you. I’d wear it over jeans too, not sure my legs would be ready for a dress that short!

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
