The B&W Photography Project Week 46 with PODCast and we’re back in May 2009, following on from last week’s post. On the way home from Bodiam Castle, Daddy P and I stopped off at Herstmonceux Castle.
A different sort of castle all together, brick-built rather than stone. The castle itself operates as an International Study Centre so isn’t available to look around, but we enjoyed walking round the gardens. The moat itself runs around 3 sides of Herstmonceux Castle and it’s certainly a lovely setting.
The bridge is just waiting for knights on charging white horses to dash across it isn’t it?
what a lovely photos! yes, for the knights!
The photo has got an old soul. I can feel the wisdom just by looking at it =) #bwphotoproject
