The Wonder Garden

The Wonder Garden

Every so often a little, or in this case, rather large gem pops through our letterbox. You all know that we love books and the natural world in this household. The Wonder Garden by Jenny Broom, also contain beautiful illustrations by Kristjana S Williams, and is perfect for us.

The Wonder Garden

Published through Wide Eyed Editions, The Wonder Garden takes the reader through 5 different global habitats to meet the various animals who exist in each domain. From mammals, birds and insects of the Amazon Rainforest to the sea life of the Great Barrier Reef. This is a truly wonderful book to treasure. It educates and challenges children to find each creature mentioned in the wonderful illustrations.

The Wonder Garden

Some animals Monkey has met at the zoo, some he’s never heard of. The range of creatures is great for broadening knowledge and we’ve really enjoyed discovering what this book has to offer, together.

Priced at £20 The Wonder Garden is an interesting 48 page book, with the illustrations really grabbing the reader’s attention and imagination.  It’s a large hardback book, so you do need space to store it, but that’s a minor detail.  It’s beautiful and we love it, it’s aimed primarily for children aged 7 years and over, but it’s been well received by the nearly 6-year-old in this household as we’ve read through the pages together.

It’s currently on offer over on Amazon, so I’ve included my affiliate link for you.
