Children’s Encyclopedia Space

As Monkey is soon to turn 6 and loves factual books as well as story books I really want to broaden the range of books we have at home for him.  I was recently introduced to Miles Kelly when I won Monkey a lovely book all about dinosaurs and I want instantly impressed.  Monkey is fascinated with space, rockets and astronauts and I’d spotted just the thing to fuel his passion further, and educate him (and me) at the same time.  Let me introduce you to the Children’s Encyclopedia Space.

Children's Encyclopedia Space

This 223 page hardback reference book is aimed primarily at children aged 7 years and over, but a nearly 6 year old Monkey has been enthralled as we’ve dipped in and out of the pages of this Children’s Encyclopedia Space over the last couple of weeks.

The book is divided into 5 sections: Solar System, Stars and Galaxies, Astronomy, Exploring Space and Space Travel.  So you can see it’s very comprehensive in the 500 facts that the book covers.

The Space facts are accompanied by drawings, illustrations and real life photography to bring the book to life.  As well as the mountain of information held with the book, there are also quizzes and projects such as creating a constellation, to be found throughout this book.

Children's Encyclopedia Space

As with our Children’s Encyclopedia Dinosaur book, I’ve been really impressed with this Children’s Encyclopedia Space and I know it’s going to be well used in the years ahead.

This book is normally priced at £17.99 but is currently available on the Miles Kelly website for £13.49 – a bargain in my eyes.
