Didriksons Monte Kid's Hoodie

Didriksons Monte Kid’s Hoodie

Monkey’s not a great lover of jumpers for some reason, so as the weather is getting colder and the days are darker I need to look at alternatives to keep him warm and cosy. His favourite colour (at the moment anyway) is red so I thought the Didriksons Monte Kid’s Hoodie would go down rather well.

We’re big fans of the Didriksons range of waterproof coats and trousers, but this would be our first experience of more casual clothing.  My first impression – wow, that’s soft. The Didriksons Monte Kid’s Hoodie is made of recycled polyester knitted fleece and Monkey loved it instantly.

I love the fact that the hood has poppers so it can be detached, making it the kind of top you could wear under a coat with ease.  The zipper has a chin guard, a big hit with Monkey, as he’s never forgiven me for catching his skin in a zip a few years ago! Memory of an elephant my son.

The hoodie has a fitted cut which looks great, and it’s slightly longer at the back, making it the perfect top to wear whilst cycling round the estate.

The quality is great, it washes well at 40 degrees too.  It’s lightweight but it’s certainly keeping Monkey warm as he pedals along on his adventures. The pockets offer a two-tone effect to the Didriksons Monte Kid’s Hoodie. We opted for the Flag Red colour, but this hoodie is also available in Navy, Burnt Glow and Peacock.

  1. Oh we need a tone of these types of hoodies! They do look lovely and I’ve dipped in and out of this brand before, although never the hoodies for some reason. I’ve tended to go with P.O.P for hoodies, but these look like a good alternative

  2. This looks great and very comfortable, neither my children or I wear jumpers so always go for zip up options on clothes. Looks perfect for on his bike, so glad he’s getting on well with it now, we’ve finally got B on his too!

  3. I like the idea of the hood coming off. N is obsessed with hoodies, but loves wearing the hoods up whenever we go out. Totally unnecessary, and makes him look like a hoodlum as well as not being great for me taking photos! Must remember to buy more jumpers rather than hoodies!
