Peter Rabbit’s Christmas Tale DVD

Peter Rabbit’s Christmas Tale DVD – review and giveaway

There are some characters that are totally timeless and I love it when Monkey loves the same favourites I had as a child.  Peter Rabbit’s Christmas Tale DVD is released today, and features our favourite little rabbit and his friends.

Peter Rabbit’s Christmas Tale DVD

Peter Rabbit’s Christmas Tale DVD is released through Abbey Home Media and features 8 episodes, lasting over 100 minutes:

Peter Rabbit’s Christmas Tale
The Tale of the Uninvited Badger
The Tale of the Runaway Rabbit
The Tale of the Stolen Firewood
The Tale of the Grumpy Owl
The Tale of the Lucky Four-Leaf Clover
The Tale of the Big Move
The Tale of the Greedy Fox

We join Peter, Lily, Benjamin Bunny and Cottontail as they try to outwit their old adversaries Tommy Brock, Mr McGregor and Mr Todd.  Peter is left in charge of getting food for the family for Christmas as Mr Bouncer is struck down with the flu.  Can they outfox Mr Todd? The friends are up against it as they try to evict Tommy Brock from the burrow of the Bouncers.

Monkey’s favourite episode is The Tale of the Stolen Firewood.  The family is nearly out of firewood and Peter and his friends go on a mission to collect supplies in the snow.  They start collecting the firewood but get distracted playing snowballs.  They return to find their stash has disappeared but there are footprints in the snow.  Through the episode they have to outwit Mr Todd, Tommy Brock and Mr McGregor to reclaim their firewood.

Peter Rabbit’s Christmas Tale DVD is a lovely, family friendly DVD that Monkey loves.

  1. Jemima Puddle-duck because this is the first of Beatrix Potter’s books to be set wholly on a farm and it was written at Hill Top farm which I have visited, thanks to the National Trust. It is such a lovely setting – I can visualise myself there.

  2. Peter Rabbit because he is a bit naughty and has a lot of fun but at the end of the day he is not a bad Rabbit 😉

  3. Mrs Tiggy Winkle because I do like to have big laundry sessions where anything that can be is washed!

  4. Squirrel nutkin…with the weather in Scotland just now I could see my self hibernating for six months!

  5. I would be Peter Rabbit as i’ve loved him since i was a little girl, plus he is the star of the show x

  6. Mrs Tiggywinks – as she has always been my favorite and we have a lovely family of hedgehogs that come and visit us every summer

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
