Baker Ross Christmas Crafts

Monkey and I have been getting festive with some lovely Baker Ross Christmas crafts. I love watching Monkey making things and colouring in, these days. The concentration levels are at their height, he follows instructions well and he is so thrilled with the end results. He likes things to be ‘right’ now, not just glued together in a frenzy.

He’s always enjoyed the stain glasses decorations from Baker Ross and this Penguin Stained Glass Effect Decorations set has been no different.

But now he’s really thinking about placement and the overall look. He put me on cutting duties whilst he was in charge of placement and gluing. We work well as a team, as long as I’m doing as I’m told. This idea is so simple but really effective. The festive celebrations have begun.

As well as the stained glass penguins, Monkey has a new friend in his Penguin Mini Bean Palls too, which he’ll be sharing with his friends.

Who doesn’t like a Snowman? This Build a Snowman set requires some PVA glue but everything else is included. The instructions are easy to follow, although Monkey needed help with the hat and cord. But once that was sorted he was happy to decorate our little friend ready to be placed on our mantelpiece this Christmas.

The Christmas Bucket Buddies Kits have also gone done well.  Everything is self adhesive, making this a great set for younger children too.  Apparently our Father Christmas bucket will leave Santa a mince-pie on Christmas Eve, and magically fill with Chocolate coins for Christmas morning.

Monkey loves the idea of having something on his door handle to tell Santa exactly where he is come Christmas Eve. He picked the Santa option from the pack of Christmas Personalised Door Hangers and then decided that Mummy could use his Baker Ross fibre tip pens to colour it in for him. Delegation at its best!

We’ve made picture frames in the past with other Baker Ross kits, but Monkey was adamant that this time around he just wanted to make a reindeer, no photos Mummy! Ok, well that works just as well. Off you go. He really loved creating his new friend. Another simple project for children to complete, and if you were allowed to add a photo, this could make a lovely present too.

Disclaimer: we were sent the items mentioned in exchange for an honest review.
