Getting festive with Jolly Clothing

Now this may surprise those that know me well but I’ve been getting festive with Jolly Clothing and their range of tops.  Oh yes, I’m the first to admit that I’m a bit bar humbug when it comes to themed clothing for myself.  But when I was looking at the Jolly Clothing website with Monkey, something caught my eye that I quite fancied myself.  I love the ‘Scandi’ theme to their range, throw in cats, and that was me sorted!

Jolly Clothing supply a range of festive clothing for all the family and I really like their twist on the theme.  With lots of bright colours and even glow in the dark options, Monkey and I both found something we liked.

So I’ve been getting festive with Jolly Clothing and their Womens Christmas Cats Long Sleeve top in red.  I took a punt on a size 10, and it fits really well.  It’s 100% cotton and is lovely to wear.

It has a slightly distressed look to the design and I actually feel that I could get away with wearing this top at any time of year, which makes it a great buy for me, at £18.00.  There are a number of different design options for both long and short-sleeved tops.

I let Monkey have a look through the site and pick his own festive treat.  I did think he’d pick something in red (his favourite colour), but he wanted the glow in the dark option, and a long sleeve top.

I ordered his Children’s Glow Sweatshirt in a 5-6 year size priced at £15, and it fits him well and he loves it, especially when we turn the lights out.  The photos haven’t come out too well, but take my word for it, the top glows!

Both the top and sweatshirt have washed well and will be well-worn this Christmas. Monkey is certainly loving the opportunity to wear ‘matching’ tops.

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum in my late 40′s with a 7 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure.
