The B&W Photography Project Week 77

The B&W Photography Project Week 77

The B&W Photography Project Week 77 with PODCast and having missed a few weeks with the madness of Monkey’s birthday and then Christmas I’m back again.  Just before Christmas I was in our local Lakeland shop on the look out for some baking inspiration when I came across a set of snowflake cookie cutters. Not only would they shape our biscuits but you could press down on them to indent 4 different snowflake designs.  I was sold at that point, and then I discovered they were reduced to £2.49.  That was it, they were coming home with me.

Now of course I just had to hope that they worked as well in practice as they did in theory, and we tested them out on some gingerbread mixture.  I was so impressed with the results.

Before and after baking ……

I infilled a lot of them with various frosted icing and they went down very well.

Monkey has some homework based on a Winter Wonderland so we’re going to be baking some more of these snowflakes over the weekend and then I’ll let him loose on the icing! His teacher has said he can either bring some into school or send in some photos, so let’s see how the idea of sharing goes down with him!

Bets anyone?  Have you played around with photographs in black and white?  Well worth joining in with the The B&W Photography Project Week 77 if you fancy trying something new in 2016.  It really shows photos in a different light.
