The Inventor’s Cupboard – 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle

I’ve become rather addicted to the Colin Thompson range of Curious Cupboard puzzles. So when Ravensburger approached me and asked if I’d like to try the brand new The Inventor’s Cupboard 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle, I was hardly likely to say no was I!

You can always guarantee quality with a Ravensburger jigsaw puzzle, the pieces are well made and fit together perfectly, the illustrations are colourful and engaging too.

In The Inventor’s Cupboard jigsaw puzzle, Colin Thompson shows us a world of Bacon Converters, a love and peace machine, a steam engine and a puppy packaging machine to name but a few.  From the very start, this was a really engaging puzzle.

Although my 6 year old son is too young to complete this jigsaw, he still loved watching it develop and looking at the various inventions as I pieced them together.  It’s certainly a good imagination stimulus for him.

  1. Crikey it certainly looks a challenge. I’d love to do more – in fact I was eyeing up another jigsaw roll after I cleared mine out a couple of years ago – but now I’m crocheting again and dancing, I just don’t have the time.

  2. Wow! What a great design! My husband bought a couple of jigsaws for me for Christmas, and I’ve started a 1000 piece one too. They’re very therapeutic 🙂 x

  3. Aha! I already have several of Colin Thompson s designed jigsaws, and can recommend also Aimee Stewart’s jigsaws too. I aha’d because I have been trying to excavate the word Therapeutic from my fibromyalgia fogged vocabulary for months, and here it is. Such fun and intricate pictures with good quality easily pickup able pieces. I have completed a couple of these twice and they are still completely challenging. Thanks for this Pin. Try to keep each other safe and healthy, best wishes.
