  1. I love butterfly’s – (do they count as creepy crawlies?) When I was young, I used to dream about butterflies lots, I still do occasionally!

  2. I absolutely love caterpillars, they have such cute little faces when you study them closely. Strangely I have very genuine phobia of moths and butterflies though!

  3. mine and lillies fave is defo wormies, mine as they are harmless and not scary looking and hers because they make wiggly homes and its fun digging to find them

  4. Ants because it’s amazing how they all work together and just know exactly what they’re doing!

  5. The only minibeast I really like is the ladybird. I think because it is so pretty and I like anything with a ladybird pattern.

  6. I really like woodlice, I like their little ridged backs, and that they have been here many millions of years

  7. If I am honest unlike my two little boys I am not a fan of mini beasts at all but if I had to pick it would be a ladybird as they seem the least threatening

  8. I have always loved ladybirds as my granddad loved having them in his garden and the feeling stuck with me.

  9. Woodlice are our favourite, there’s always lots to be found in our garden and the kids love handling them, making homes for them and giving them all names!

  10. id have to say Butterflies – we did the Butterfly kit last summer, and my daughter was amazed by the tiny little (ugly) catterpillars turning into beautiful butterflies, we would pick flowers for them on the way home from school x

  11. Got to love butterflies
When things are not good, go and watch them and watch them fly and taking all your woes with them

  12. Woodlice as they always seem to just go about their business and none minds them too much!

  13. Ladybirds live their colours
Been fascinated with these small creatures since I was small

  14. I love ants. When my children were young we had an ‘ant world’. It is fascinating to watch and see how they interact.

  15. I love the woodlouse, they are great just watch them crawl alone and when you touch them they curl up into a little ball, so well ‘made’ by nature.

  16. I like stag beetles because I used to have a nest of them in my garden when I was a child and they used to fascinate me and my brother as they have terrible tempers and had battles on our lawn x

  17. Although they can be a real pest both in our house and greenhouse ants fascinate me. They work so hard. I love watching them 🙂

  18. My favourite Mini Beasts are snails – why? I blame Dick King Smith! It was Sophie’s influence, as a child I used to find them in the garden and keep them as pets…

  19. I love caterpillars, i used to keep them in jars when i was a kid and wait for them to change into butterflies or moths and release them 🙂

  20. I like ladybirds, I think mainly because my daughter calls them AngryBirds (in all seriousness, she thinks that’s what they are called lol)

  21. I like butterflies best because I enjoy seeing them open out their wings and take a moment to bask in the sun!

  22. caterpillars and subsequently butterflies. last year we had caterpillars and watched them transform, then let the butterflies go in the garden. This was a special kit I bought.

  23. My favorite are caterpillars. It fascinates me how they transform into something so beautiful

  24. I like butterflies BUT I do not like caterpillars – I was attacked by a rare species on holiday once and ended up in the emergency room as it released a neuro-toxin into my nervous system!

  25. I like Caterpillars. I find it absolutely amazing that they are able to transform into butterflies x
