I See Me! personalised book #iseemebooks

I’m a sucker when it comes to books as you all know.  I was recently contacted by an US-based company who are eager to grab our attention over in the UK and offered an I See Me! personalised book for Monkey.  I was immediately drawn to their Speedster personalised book as it features a red racing car.  Not quite a Ferrari F1, but near enough that I knew Monkey would love it!

I See Me! have a whole host of personalised books within their range, including Easter themed and New Big Brother/Sister which are always a popular idea.  But fir us, anything involving racing cars would be a winner.  You just need to provide some information, such as name, date of birth, hair and skin colour and as an optional extra you can upload a high res image of your child.  Easy.

The one area of the website that does need attention for a UK/European audience will be pricing.  Everything is shown in USD, I believe the Speedster book we received works out at £25.00 + postage (approx £10.70 working on the information I could see on the I See Me! website).

But that aside, the quality of the I See Me! personalised book Monkey received is excellent. The book is a hardback, 24 page book. We added a dedication in the front of the book which also shows the photo I’d uploaded.  The photo of Monkey is shown through the story, which he loved.  Little details like the track being named after his hometown and the crowd waving banners with his name were also a big hit.

The story line is well thought out and Monkey has really enjoyed reading it.  He was even more impressed when he got to the end of the race to discover not only had he won, but he’d made the papers!

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum in my late 40′s with a 7 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
