Sedum Cottage 1000 piece puzzle from Ravensburger

As Autumn sets in and I start to wrap myself up in a jumper, it’s nice to sit down in the evenings with a good jigsaw.  I’ve always loved the idea of a thatched cottage in the countryside and my latest puzzle has been a joy to complete. The Sedum Cottage 1000 piece puzzle from Ravensburger has brought some colour to the proceedings.

Doesn’t Sedum Cottage look idyllic?  Surrounded by autumnal colour, it puts my own garden to shame.  The 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle shows an illustration by Howard Robinson which has lots of detail to enjoy as you put the puzzle together. This puzzle is number 10 in the Country Cottage series from Ravensburger.

As I always mention, Ravensburger produce their puzzles to a really high standard.  The pieces are well made and the graphic quality is excellent.  Their puzzles are always a joy to complete.

From the Japanese Anemone to the Dahlias and the Sedum, the cottage itself is surrounded by splashes of colour.  It’s lovely to watch the jigsaw puzzle come together as the pieces are placed.  Hanging baskets appear along with all manner of garden birds.

The border on three sides of the Sedum Cottage 1000 piece puzzle from Ravensburger, really pulls it together.  There’s so much going on within the scene that you just can’t get bored completing this puzzle.

Aimed at anyone aged 12 years this is a lovely jigsaw puzzle to complete, and has kept me busy over the last few evenings.  Now I just need to make a note of all the plant names and get myself off to the garden centre.

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum in my late 40′s with a 7 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
