A Tale of Two Boots from Hotter

You may recall that I went to the Hotter AW16 launch in Banbury back in September. My niece Chloe, also a blogger, writing over at Its A Girl Thing Blogging was also at the event. Although there’s over 30 years difference in our ages (sobs quietly in a corner) we soon realised that we could see a lot of the Hotter range would work for both of us.  So a Tale of Two Boots from Hotter sees us trying out the Belle Boots in Black. Where would these boots take us?

As a SAHM I spend a lot of my time wearing jeans and leggings.  I need practical footwear to get me through on a day-to-day basis, but I’m also looking for something with a bit of style too. Heels aren’t so important for me these days.

I love the detailing on these boots, and long boots have always been a personal favourite. The full length inside zip features stretch-tech, making them so easy to do up.  There’s an adjustable buckle at the top of the boot so you can get the fit just right for you too.  The buckle ankle strap drew me to these boots in-store and I couldn’t wait to put them to the test over the last couple of months. The waxed nubuck leather has worn really well.

A Tale of Two Boots from Hotter has seem me literally living in these boots lately.  They are just so comfortable and the cushioned insole means you can walk for miles and your feet will forgive you.

I’ve gone out for dinner with friends wearing these boots with a dress.

Worn them when I’ve met a friend for coffee and cake.

They’ve seen me through countless school walks and adventures with my son over the last couple of months too.  They haven’t once rubbed, my feet have remained warm and cosy and they are honestly, just so comfortable to wear.

I love versatile footwear and these Belle Boots are just that.  They go with everything, look good with everything and perfectly fit with my lifestyle.  Whether my son and I are walking round Stowe Landscape Gardens or I’m off Christmas present shopping for hours on end, these boots deliver. A Tale of Two Boots from Hotter has seen me walk miles in all terrains and the tread shows no sign of wear at all.  Really impressed.

When you spend half your life trying to keep up with a 7-year-old (still trying to get used to the 7) you need to be on your toes, but to have boots that fit that bill and look stylish too, bonus.

Last weekend saw us celebrating my son’s birthday with time away in Kent, and my boots were there clocking up more miles.  That’s my half of a Tale of Two Boots from Hotter, now over to the younger generation to see how the Belle boots works for an 18-year-old. What has Chloe been up in her a Tale of Two Boots from Hotter?

Priced at £125.00 these boots have ticked all the boxes this side of the generation gap.

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum in my late 40′s with a 7 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure.
