Saving memories with a Saal Digital photo book

Saving memories with a Saal Digital photo book – review and giveaway #saaldigital

As many of you know I started a DSLR Beginners photography course in September and each week I’m given an assignment to complete.  The following week I have to show my photos in class and then they are stuck into my work book.  It’s A3 sized, so bulky and not something I get out to show people on a day-to-day basis.  I really wanted something a little more practical, and long-lasting, to capture my photographic journey in.  With that in mind I’ve been saving memories with a Saal Digital photo book.

When Saal Digital asked me if I’d like to try out their service, I knew it was the perfect time to turn my first two term’s worth of work into a photo book. To create something for me to look back on, and save moments captured to paper. They offer a range of photographic products, from posters and cards to calendars and photo books.  You will need to download their free software, but then you are ready to get started.

I knew I wanted to create a 21x28cms photo book with glossy pages, but there are a number of sizing and printing options available. The design process is fairly easy and you can see your photo book forming as you work from page to page.  It’s easy to add in and take away pages as needed too.  My 48 page photo book cost £49.75 with delivery of £4.95, the service is speedy. What would the finished book look like?

I’m saving memories with a Saal Digital photo book and I’m really pleased with the results.  I’d opted for a padded gloss cover with a wrap around photo.  The 48 pages of my finished book are well-bound and the reproduction quality is good.

It’s been a great way to save my work so far and to see the progression of shots over the last 7 months.  I’m no expert and the shots aren’t perfect, but that’s not the point.  I wanted to have something to look back on which showed each week and the topic covered.  This book does just that and I’ve been impressed with my first experience with Saal Digital.

  1. I’d go for a photobook 21/28 – just had a lovely Easter break and it would be nice to put the photos somewhere where I would actually look at them!

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
