Britains JCB Fastrac 3230 Tractor

As long-term readers of the blog will know, Monkey was a love of all things JCB, which began with one of his first board books as a baby.  The My First JCB range introduced him to Freddie Fastrac the JCB tractor, and so a 7 year love affair began.  You may recall that we reviewed the JCB Fastrac 4220 last year. Well we’ve recently added the Britains JCB Fastrac 3230 Tractor to Monkey’s collection thanks to Tomy Toys UK.

Now you could be forgiven for thinking that one JCB Fastrac Tractor is the same as the next, but as my son has taken great delight in telling me, they are totally different.

The Britains JCB Fastrac 3230 Tractor has a different cab design and shape among other features, making a very different beast.

This 1:32 scale replica is suitable for children aged 3 years and over and is made from die-cast metal with plastic fittings.  The yellow rimmed big tread tyres and front wheel drive make it ready for work, whatever the terrain.

There’s are front forks on the tractor which can be used with attachments if you have them, and there’s an adjustable hitch at the rear so you can couple the tractor to trailers and other agricultural machinery.

The Britains JCB Fastrac 3230 Tractor also comes with moveable wing mirrors, although the cab itself is sealed.

It’s a bast of a machine and Monkey loves the latest addition to his fleet of tractors.  A tractor that’s a JCB, it’s really a match made in heaven as far as this 7 year old is concerned.

The box was soon ripped open and the Britains JCB Fastrac 3230 Tractor was subjected to a full inspection with lots of oohs and aahs along the way.

With warmer days ahead I can see this tractor spending time being driven around the garden, delivering and collection loads of produce, aka as moss, grass and stones.  But for now Monkey is happy keeping his tractor inside.

He truly is a pig in muck when he’s playing with his tractors. One happy boy.
